Twenty years later she is back in her old community to help take care of her mother, with her daughter. Full of secrets, she tries to navigate her family and seeing her first love again. As secrets become revealed can the power of forgiveness overcome what she has kept hidden all these years?
I thoroughly enjoyed this novel. What I liked about it is that you get multiple character’s points of view throughout the book. So as characters change you see how they are thinking and feeling. The author also brings in raw emotion and as each emotion is felt by the character, you the reader feel it deeply. Truly the power of forgiveness can overcome anything and this book really shows God’s forgiveness. Also with some surprises and twists along in the storyline that I didn’t see coming.
